Dunmanway to Clashavoon 110kV Overhead Line gets Approval

An Bord Pleanála have approved an application by Eirgrid for a new 110 kV overhead line between Dunmanway and Macroom, County Cork. Wetland Surveys Ireland Ltd. prepared the ecology section of the environmental report on the scheme. The ecological assessment included surveys of Whooper Swan populations in the study area over a two year period and the preparation of a Natura Impact Statement.
