World Wetlands Day Competition

The Map of Irish Wetlands and the Irish Ramsar Committee are running a photographic competition to celebrate World Wetlands Day 2021 and 50 years since the signing of the Ramsar Convention. This competition will be launched on February 2nd and photos can be submitted via the Wetland Snapshot App.

This year’s WWD theme shines a spotlight on wetlands as a source of freshwater and encourages actions to restore them and stop their loss.
